Of the First International Network Music Competition "Young Musicians of the World"
Applications deadline - March 15, 2021. Announcement of the results on March 31, 2021.
ORGANIZERS
Italian cultural association of Grosseto "Recondite Armonie" in collaboration with "SWISS School of Music" of Zug are the organizers of The 1st International Network Music Competition "Young Musicians of the World"
PARTICIPANTS
Artists of all musical specialties at the ages between 6 and 25 years inclusive are invited to participate in the competition: soloists and chamber ensemble artists, youth orchestras and choirs.
JURY
Competition auditions will be held online. The jury of the competition consists of musicians and artistic directors of the project. The jury has the right to stop listening to the recording of the participant's performance if the required timing of performance is over limit. Jury members cannot vote for their students. The jury's decision is final and not a subject to appeal.
PRIZES
Participants of the competition will be awarded with special prizes, concerts and diplomas. Diplomas and certificates will be sent to the participants’ email addresses indicated in the applications at the end of the competition. The winners of the Recondite Armonie prize will be invited to Italy for a cultural exchange project.
ITALIAN PROJECT FOR CULTURAL EXCHANGE AMONG YOUNG MUSICIANS FROM AROUND THE WORLD
According to the results of the qualifying rounds more than 50 young talents accompanied by parents and teachers will go on a concert tour in Tuscany: Grosseto, Pisa, Livorno, Siena, Roccalbegna, Castiglione della Pescaia, Piancastagnaio, Pitigliano. The project also involves young musicians from Italy, America, Japan, England, China and Russia. From year to year, this project provides an opportunity for young artists to perform publicly during a project that combines concerts, master classes, competition, outdoor activities and excursions as well as supports young musicians at the initial stage of their musical career, enriches their stage experience and helps to study of foreign languages.
Project goals:
- To assist the development of international exchange among performing arts techniques and improve the professional pedagogical level.
- To promote classical music as an important component of spiritual education and cultural enrichment of people of all ages and nationalities.
- To support young musicians at the initial stage of their artistic path, enrich their stage and life experience.
AGE CATEGORIES AND PROGRAM
Participants of all categories can perform a musical program on their choice with a limited time. Soloists should play by heart, chamber ensembles by using the scores.
SOLOISTS
Category "A" - from 6 to 9 years old inclusive
Maximum duration of the program - 5 minutes
Category "B" - from 10 to 12 years old inclusive
Maximum duration of the program - 8 minutes
Category "C" - from 13 to 15 years old inclusive
Maximum duration of the program is 10 minutes
Category "D" - from 16 to 25 years old inclusive
Maximum duration of the program is 15 minutes
CHAMBER ENSEMBLES
Category "E" - all participants up to 12 years old inclusive
Maximum duration of the program - 8 minutes
Category "F" - all participants up to 16 years old inclusive
Maximum duration of the program - 12 minutes
Category "G" - all participants up to 25 years old inclusive
Maximum duration of the program - 15 minutes
JUNIOR CHOIRS - Category "H"
Maximum duration of the program is 15 minutes
YOUTH ORCHESTRA - Category "I"
Maximum duration of the program is 15 minutes
The age of the participants is determined on the date of submitting an application. Contestants can participate in a higher age category if the preparation in their opinion allows it but not in the lower age category
VIDEO RECORDING REQUIREMENT
Good quality studio, home or concert footage should be publicly posted on YouTube. No extraneous noise is allowed.
APPLICATION FEES
For categories "A", "B", "C", "D" - CHF 49,00
For categories "E", "F", "G" – CHF 39,00 from each member of the ensemble
For categories "H", "I" – CHF 349,00 per team
The entry fee is not refundable.
DATA PROCESSING AND TERMS OF REGULATION
The organizers of the festival have the right to use the received photographs and video recordings of the participants’ performances for advertising and information purposes in connection with the competition and the project for cultural exchange without paying additional fee to the participants, as well as without limiting the period and territory of use. By submitting materials and an application, participants agree with all clauses of this regulation and give their consent to the process their personal data within the framework of the competition. The right to resolve disputes belongs to the artistic director of the Italian Association "Recondite Armonie".
