Timur Gasratov

Biography
Timur Gasratov is a pianist, pedagogue, chamber musician, and soloist with international experience. Since 2007, he has been teaching piano at the University of Music Freiburg. In Switzerland, he teaches at the Swiss School of Music (Zug) as well as at the Musikschule Leimental (Basel), where he has also served as musical director.
His concert activity has taken him to renowned venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie, the Philharmonies of Odesa and Kyiv, as well as to major festivals including the Verbier Festival and the Beethoven Festival in Milan (Sala Verdi).
Timur is a prizewinner of numerous international competitions and is regularly invited as a juror at international festivals and competitions. He received his education in Odesa, Freiburg, and Saarbrücken.

Special Focus
Timur combines in his work the experience of an internationally performing pianist with that of a dedicated pedagogue and chamber musician. His teaching fosters not only technique and musical expression but also ensemble listening and stage presence.
