Über die Veranstaltung
Taking inspiration from movement methods such as release technique, Qi-Gong and Gaga, the class proposes a journey from soft improvisation in a flow to dynamic diverse movement. The practice starts from the soft engaging all body parts, increasing the sensitivity, range of movement, meeting different textures and continues to the playful exercises to develop the ability to listen to the body and to be ready to move. The class consists of choreographed sequences and technical elements.
About teacher
Aleksandra Stoliarova is a choreographer, performer and teacher based in Zurich. Originally from Russia, she danced for “Okoyem dance company”, collaborated with “Minoga dance company” and worked for “Provincial Dances Theatre”. Under the artistic director of Tatyana Baganova, she worked with choreographers such as: Oleg Stepanov, Walter Matteini, Fabrice Lambert, Anna Schekleina, Aleksandr Pepelyaev, Maura Morales, Dor Mammalia and Dariusz Novak among others.
