Instrumental Skills Lab
With Valeri Tolstov
(from 8 years old)
Instrumental Skills Lab offers unique individual lessons where the instrument is not treated in isolation, but as part of musical thinking, rhythm, and overall sound.
The class is led by Valery Tolstov, a multi-instrumentalist and composer — a true “one-man orchestra” who approaches music in a holistic way.
What makes these lessons special
-
creative and unconventional approach to the instrument
-
development of musical ear, rhythm, and musical thinking
-

-

-
improvisation and original music creation
-
understanding the instrument within the full musical context
This is not a traditional syllabus-based lesson,
but a living dialogue with music and the instrument.
