Scholarship Competition for the Performance Class

On June 5–6, 2027, within the framework of the annual Music Level Test “Crescendo,” the Swiss School of Music will hold the Crescendo Talent Award — a scholarship competition for admission to the Performance Klasse.

The Crescendo Talent Award recognizes dedication, artistic growth, and outstanding musical potential.

📅 Registration Deadline

Registration is open until
March 30, 2027.

Participation in the Music Level Test “Crescendo” is required in order to enter the competition.

• Participation in the competition is voluntary.

• Separate registration is required.

• An additional competition fee of 45 CHF applies.

🏆 Scholarships 2027/28

For the 2027/28 academic year, the following scholarships will be awarded:

• 3 scholarships with a 50% tuition reduction

• 3 scholarships with a 25% tuition reduction

Scholarships are granted for one academic year.

The allocation is based on final competition scores.

The jury reserves the right not to award certain scholarships if the required artistic level is not met.

All Crescendo Talent Award laureates receive a
Galaxus voucher worth 100 CHF.

🎓 What is the Performance Class?

The Performance Class is an advanced performance program for highly motivated students who are ready for structured artistic development.

Mandatory training format:

• At least 2 lessons per week

• A minimum of 1.5 hours of individual instruction per week

The program includes:

• Regular stage performance opportunities

• Participation in school concert projects

• Masterclasses

• Music theory studies

• Performance evaluations twice per year

Participants are expected to maintain consistent home practice and complete individual assignments given by their teacher.

The Crescendo Talent Award represents commitment, artistic excellence, and long-term musical growth.
