What happens after the trial lesson?

After the trial lesson, we recommend the most suitable class, teacher or lesson format if needed. If you would like to continue, you will receive the information for regular enrolment.

How are students assigned to groups?

Group placement is based not only on age, but also on previous experience, technical level, the child's development and the composition of the group.

What happens if the preferred group is full?

If a group is full, we can place your child on the waiting list and, where possible, suggest a suitable alternative.

Does my child have to take part in concerts and performances?

Stage experience is an important part of our school concept. Whether participation in a particular concert, performance or project is expected or required depends on the programme and is communicated in advance.

Can my child take more than one subject?

Multiple subjects are possible depending on the programme. Not every combination is offered; we are happy to advise which combination is appropriate academically and practically.

What should I do in case of illness or absence?

Please inform the school or the responsible teacher as early as possible. The rules for cancelled or missed lessons are governed by the applicable contract terms and General Terms and Conditions.

Do you offer lessons for adults?

Yes. We offer adult lessons in selected music and dance subjects. You can find the current options under the relevant programmes or contact us for details.

From what age can my child start?

We offer ballet from the age of 3.5. In music, children can start at the age of 2 with our Baby-Classic programme – our music programme for the youngest. Instrumental and voice lessons are possible from the age of 4, music theory from the age of 6.

Can my child attend a trial lesson first?

Yes. Before enrolment, a free 30-minute trial lesson is available if there is space in the suitable group or with the requested teacher.

Where do lessons take place?

Depending on the subject and class, lessons take place in Baar and Zug. The exact location is shown with the relevant course or in the timetable.

Which languages are lessons taught in?

Depending on the teacher, lessons are available in German, English, Russian and Ukrainian.

How large are the groups?

We intentionally keep our Ballet groups small. Children’s groups generally have a maximum of 8 participants, and adult groups a maximum of 7.

Can we join during the semester?

Yes. Joining during the semester is possible if there is an available place in the suitable group or for individual lessons.

How does enrolment for regular lessons work?

Regular lessons are booked and invoiced by semester. Cancellation is possible at the end of a semester in accordance with the notice period agreed in the tuition contract.

How much do lessons cost?

Prices depend on the programme, lesson format and lesson duration. Current prices are shown on the relevant course pages.

Do you also offer private lessons?

Yes. Private lessons are available in music and ballet depending on the subject, teacher and available times.

Are there performance opportunities for students?

Yes. Stage experience is an important part of our educational concept. Students regularly have opportunities to perform in concerts, stage productions and school projects in front of an audience.

Are regular lessons held during school holidays?

Regular lessons do not take place during the school holidays listed in the school calendar. Current holiday dates are available in the school calendar.

Do you offer ballet classes for adults?

Yes. We offer adult ballet classes in Baar. Current class times and availability are shown in the timetable.
