Alexandra Stolyarova

Biography
Aleksandra Stolyarova is a choreographer, dancer, and dance pedagogue based in Zurich. Originally from Russia, she danced for the Okoyem Dance Company, collaborated with the Minoga Dance Company, and was a member of the Provincial Dances Theatre. Under the artistic direction of Tatiana Baganova, she worked with choreographers such as Oleg Stepanov, Walter Matteini, Fabrice Lambert, Anna Schekleina, Aleksandr Pepelyaev, Maura Morales, Dor Mammalia, and Dariusz Novak.
Stage Experience
🎭 Participation in numerous theater and dance projects in Russia and Switzerland
🎨 In the past six months, she has been a performer in the Marina Abramovic Retrospective at Kunsthaus Zürich
🌍 International experience through collaboration with leading choreographers
Choreography
Since 2021, Aleksandra has been pursuing her own choreographic path. She has collaborated with various theaters in Russia and developed her own works.
Education
She is currently completing her Master’s degree in Choreography at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and continues her professional journey in Switzerland.
Teaching Activity
Aleksandra combines various dance styles with contemporary performance art. In her classes, students learn freedom of movement, improvisation, and self-expression through dance.
