I was born in Minsk into a family of musicians: my father was a well-known music journalist, and my mother was a professor of art studies and a pedagogue with fifty years of teaching experience. My childhood was shaped by music – behind the scenes of the Philharmonic, at concerts of great musicians, and at musical evenings in our home.

Today my husband and I have five adult children and already four grandchildren. During my years as a mother in Switzerland, I gained a wealth of experience searching for schools and teachers, and spent countless hours creating schedules that intertwined music, dance, sports, and academics. This experience became the foundation of the Swiss School of Music.

As is often the case, the school began as a project “for our own children.” I invited talented musicians to collaborate, created the name and logo, designed the first website, organized concerts – from multimedia projects with cartoons to performances in retirement homes – and won our first sponsors.

My central idea is simple: children should not only have fun, but also discover joy in good, serious work. Whether in lessons, concerts, competitions, or making music at home – true enthusiasm arises when dedicated and inspiring teachers stand by their side.

In recent years, the first generation of students has grown up, and a community of teachers and parents has formed. But this is only the beginning. My dream is to create an international festival, a competition, and a large school of arts, where children can receive a comprehensive education in music and the arts – this universal language of humanity.
