Biography

Emmanuil-Ioann Yuziuk is a talented Ukrainian guitarist with over 17 years of experience, known for his virtuosity and musicality. Born in 1998 into a family of musicians, he devoted himself to the guitar from an early age and developed a unique style.

He masters various types of guitars — classical, electric, acoustic, as well as ukulele — and performs a wide repertoire: from classical music to Spanish flamenco, jazz standards, improvisations, and fingerstyle.

Education

• Graduate of the Kharkiv National University of Arts (class of Prof. Volodymyr Dotsenko, whose students include Marko Topchii and Dmytro Omelchak).
• Masterclasses with renowned guitarists such as Margarita Escarpa, Marcin Dylla, Tomas Zaveruha, and Stephen Goss.
• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) under Prof. Vojin Kocic.

Stage and Teaching Activity
🎸 Active concert career as a soloist and chamber musician.
🎶 Collaborations in duos (violin, cello, trumpet, clarinet, oboe, piano, voice), trios, quartets, and orchestras.
🎼 Teaching experience with students of all age groups.

Special Note
In addition to his music career, Ioann also achieved success in sports: he was a professional football player and played for the premier league teams Dynamo Kyiv and later Metalist 1925 Kharkiv.
